A video started to make rounds on Twitter on the 18th of January 2020 wherein a group of people can be seen as thrashing a Muslim man. The video is of the train bound to Jaipur in which Asif Shaikh, a Muslim man, was travelling with a family friend, a Hindu woman. As reported in Hindustan Times, Pintu Kauhshal of Bajrang dal and two other allies got information that Hindu women had been misguided by the Muslim man. They are heading towards Ajmer to get married, as this is a clear case of "Love Jihad", they, Bajrangdal, took action and took Shaikh to the Police station. Au contraire, the woman, travelling with Asif denied such allegation and said they are family friends. Asif Shaikh did not register any case complaint. Hence the Police did not take any action on the perpetrators of the crime, said GRP Superintendent of Police Nivedita Gupta.
