Noor Bhatt, a tenet of Lajpat Nagar, hailing from Srinagar, Kashmir was verbally abused on the night of 14th October,2020. Her furniture were vandalized and ransacked on the pretext that she was due on her rent, which she clearly denied and said that the rent up to previous month had already been paid. She was even called terrorist just because she was from Kashmir and threatened her to burn down her face with cigarette. The Delhi Commission for Women has taken Suo-moto cognizance on media reports of harassment.
