Three Christians severely beaten for conversion

On Sep 29, 2020 three Christians were severely beaten by a mob in the Marigunda village of Odisha in the district of Malkangiri. On Sep 25 Ganga, a villager chose to convert Christianity after hearing the Gospel from Mukesh Podiami. When the villagers came to know about Ganga's conversion, they beat him. On Sep 29, Ganga was called to a village meeting. The villagers said, "you have accepted the Christian religion. You should not live in this village any more. Give us a written statement that you do not belong to this village, that your parents don't live here, that you don't have any rights in this village, and don't have any land." Under threat Ganga agreed to give written statement after this he called Mukesh and Pastor Sam. They arrived to the village and sought permission to take the photograph of the draft. And then they were severely beaten with sandals, sticks, etc. Mukesh was also beaten with rock and got head injury. Meanwhile, Pastor Sam called the local police and lodged FIR but police didn't take any action to confront the assailants.
