Muslim farmer threatened of sending to Bangladesh

On 27 July, Saddam Hossain Fakir submitted his documents to BSF and entered a land for farming at 6 AM. At 9 AM two BSF officers came to him and told him that the commander had summoned him. When Saddam went to commander at Gobra BSF camp at Gate no. 18 of district North 24 Pgs of West Bengal he started beating Saddam with a stick and abused him continuously. He said to Saddam, "We will send you to Bangladesh after NRC... just wait" Even after Saddam fell down, the commander continued kicking and punching. After sometime Saddam's family and friends rescued and took him to the hospital. Next day when Saddam went to the BSF camp to ask for his documents and the reason behind the violence, he was denied the documents and the commander said, "Go and complain to any number of police and activists. I do not care. Even if you file a case against me in the (National) Human (Rights) Commission, it will not affect me."
